The National Hurricane Center has the final figures on Hurricane Ida.
The agency's final report on Tuesday confirms that the deadly Category 4 storm hit Louisiana with 150 mph winds.
This puts Ida in a tie with Hurricane Laura in 2020 and the Last Island Hurricane of 1856 as the strongest storm winds ever to strike Louisiana.
Ida made landfall on August 29 of last year, and is second only to Hurricane Katrina in terms of damage done to the state.
The Department of Health says 26 people died in Louisiana because of Ida.
