Did Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom get secretly married?
Perry is sparking rumors that her and her fiancé have tied the knot after being spotted wearing what appears to be a wedding band. Page Six shared photos of the singer while in Hawaii, where she has reportedly been with Bloom and their daughter Daisy for several weeks. The photos show Katy walking, and as she is reaching up to adjust her baseball cap with "Mama" written on the front, her wedding ring finger is missing her engagement ring, and instead she is wearing a simple gold band.
The pictures also show Orlando, carrying their daughter on his back, as they are walking out of a restaurant — but it's unclear if he is also wearing a ring.
Katy and Orlando got engaged in February 2019, and Perry shared a photo from the special day with a photo of the flower-shaped ring, writing along with it "Full bloom." The couple's wedding was originally supposed to have taken place in December 2019, however, the nuptials were postponed in order to get married at the location they wanted, as a source explained to Us Weekly. And, with a new date planned for 2020, their plans were pushed back again due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The couple went on to welcome their first child together, daughter Daisy Dove, in August 2020. As Katy and Orlando have enjoyed their daughter for the last seven months, their wedding has not been top of mind. A source told Us Weekly, "Katy and Orlando’s wedding will not be taking place in 2020. It just wasn’t meant to be. Their beautiful daughter arrived and she is their sole focus. Planning for any wedding has been put on hold. It will happen, but it’s just not something they are focused on as a couple currently."
